Talethia Edwards

Named one of Tallahassee’s 25 Women You Need to Know for 2019, Talethia is an avid advocate for Leon County, specifically the Bond Community which she has called home since attending FAMU twenty years ago. She remains there now with her husband and seven children, supporting the neighborhood’s growth as President and founder of the Greater Bond Neighborhood Association. Talethia continues her commitment and advocacy through public speaking, volunteerism and service via board work with agencies like Kids, Inc. of the Big Bend, Early Head Start, CACA Head Start, The PHI Center, Tallahassee Lenders Consortium, and committees like the Early Childhood Obesity Prevention (ECOP) task force, the Leon County school district advisory committee, and Title I advisory committee.
