Community Co-op Market is currently hiring a part time, wellness clerk (with the possibility to work full-time across departments)

This person must have awesome customer service skills, must be able to work weekends some retail knowledge of supplements and body care products helpful and the willingness to continued learning on trends and products in the department. Required availability is 8 am-3 pm on Saturday and Sunday, plus one week day to be determined by the need of the department. There is a possibility to create a full time status by cross training into other departments.

This position requires a love of dealing with people, a desire to help and the need to deliver excellent customer service to each person you interact with. Your active listening skills will be tested daily. Customers will be sharing personal information so your ability to treat customers with dignity and maintain confidentiality is also important.  Previous retail experience and knowledge of vitamins, supplements and body care products are preferred.

In addition to assisting customers, expect to receive and stock products and maintain department cleanliness. Because we work as a team at CCM, you might also find yourself running a register or bagging groceries during high traffic times, or even sweeping up in the produce department. 

Candidates with open availability, including nights, weekends and holidays, will be given hiring preference.
