Do Be A Worker Bee At CCM

I’m excited to announce that CCM is launching a program that rewards you for being a volunteer in our community. Support one of the many nonprofits partner organizations, and for every six hours of your time you’ll get 10% off a shopping trip at the Co-op.

The Co-op Worker Bees program encourages our members to participate in active and sustained volunteerism with local nonprofits. We’ve chosen organizations that closely align with CCM’s values of supporting hunger relief, sustainable food production, community, and the environment. See the full list of organizations you can work for on our website at CCMgrocery.coop/workerbees

If you’re a member and you’re interested in the program, you’ll need to be in ‘good standing’. In other words, we have just three simple asks:

  • You’re current on membership payments

  • The email address we have for you is current

  • You’ve shopped with us some time in the past 12 months

Easy-peasy.

Then all you have to do is fill out the Volunteer Agreement from our Worker Bees page on the website, and choose a nonprofit to work with. You can also rack up hours volunteering for the co-op when we do special community projects!

This is a new program, so we’ll be relying on our first wave of volunteers to give us feedback about what’s working and how we can improve. Please consider being a Worker Bee and help our community while you save money on your co-op groceries.

In cooperation,

Troy Bond
Community Co-op Market CEO
